Is S8 Money available as a mobile app?
Currently, S8 Money is only available as a browser app and is best viewed on a large screen. The decision is purely to reduce multi-platform development time and focus on features.

Does S8 Money collect any personal info?
S8 Money app does not collect any personal information. The app is totally anonymous driven by a random User ID. However, when you make a payment, the payment provider (currently Stripe) will collect the personal information. We only use the User ID supplied on the payment screen to track your payment status - when you paid. No other information is saved on our servers.

Does S8 Money store any financial data on its servers?
No. All financial data is stored on your browser/file system. Only login information and basic usage information such as login time are stored on the server.

If the data is stored locally on my system, can I access the data on another system?
You could achieve cross system access by storing your data on your personal cloud storage (One Drive, Google Drive).

Does S8 Money sync with financial institutions?
S8 Money does not provide sync with financial institutions. One of the core tenets of S8 Money was privacy and it is hard, if even possible, to provide integration with financial institutions without processing your financial data on a server. This means you will need to manually enter your financial data into the app.

Is S8 Money a budgeting app?
S8 Money does not currently provide for creating budgets. It allows you to track your income and expenses. It is primarily a tracking app. It offers a number of features targeted towards stock market investors.

Is S8 Money available for free?
S8 Money is priced using a post-paid yearly pricing model without saved/recurring billing. You can try the software for an entire year and stop using any time without paying if you do not like it. You will always have access to your data.

Is there a trial period?
S8 Money's pricing model gives you a 12-month trial period. 

Does S8 Money sell user information for advertisements?​
We neither have advertisements on the app nor any information we could use since it is all stored on the user's system.

Can I export data from S8 Money to other apps / spreadsheets if I don't want to use the software anymore?
The app provides out of box export to Excel format. In addition your financial data is always stored on your system in a JSON file (assuming you have saved it) and the structure of the JSON data is also public.

• If you are comfortable working with scripting and data formats you can migrate the data to any format.

• If you are targeting move to another software, that software might help you will the migration.
